Kunming enjoys the reputation of “Spring City”, is the provincial capital of Yunnan Province, the gateway city from China to Southeast Asia and South Asia, and the famous historical and cultural city of China. Kunming is also an important tourist and trade city, one of the important central cities in the western region. Cangyuan is a border city, Burma neighbors it in the west. More than 20 minority groups inhabit there for generations, among which Wa people takes up the largest proportion of the population. Cangyuan is regarded as a multicultural region. It boasts its unique culture and activities which are quite different in other resorts at home and abroad. The fun, passionate and unique Monihei Carnival and New Rice Festival are the popular festivals of Wa people. Cangyuan is one of the only two Wa Autonomous Counties in China.

There are about 3 flights a day on average from Kunming Changshui International Airport to Cangyuan Washan Airport. It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes from Kunming to Cangyuan and about 1 hour and 5 minutes from Cangyaun to Kunming by direct flight.

Transportation in Yunnan:

Kunming- Lugu Lake Flights offer the flight schedules between Kunming (昆明) and Lugu Lake(泸沽湖). The distance from Kunming to Lugu Lake is about 560 kilometers. It takes about one hour from Kunming to Lugu Lake by air.Known as Spring city due to its moderate weather, Kunming is the capital and largest city in Yunnan Province. It is a prefecture-level city and the political, economic and cultural center of Yunnan as well as the government seat of Yunnan Province. Ninglang Yi Autonomous County is located in the northwest of Yunnan province. It is under the administration of Lijiang City, commonly known as Small Liangshan(小凉山). “Feeling, water and mountain” is the feature and boutique of Ninglang tourism.

Ninglang Lugu Lake Airport is located in Shifo Mountain, Hongqiao Township, Ninglang County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is 25 Kilometers away from Lugu Lake Scenic spot and 50 kilometers from Ninglang County. The airport covers an area of about 175 hectares, and the altitude is 3292.9 meters, positioned as domestic 4C level feeder airport.

Zhaotong, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Yunnan Province, is located in the northeast of Yunnan Province. It is located at the joint part of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces; the lower reaches of the Jinsha River; and the transition zone from the Sichuan Basin to the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. It used to be an important gateway to Sichuan and Guizhou provinces, and one of the major economic and cultural center on the “Silk Road” in south China.

Zhaotong Airport(ICAO; ZPZT; IATA; ZAT ), built in 1935, is located on Jichang Road(机场路) of Zhaoyang District, Zhaotong City. Now, there are mainly direct flights from Zhaotong to Chongqing. Secondly, direct flights from Zhaotong to Kunming and Chongqing are different every day. Navigable cities include Kunming, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guiyang, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing. In addition to direct flights, transfer service is also available.

At present, there are at least 2 flights a day on average connecting Zhaotong Airport and Kunming Airport. Direct flights between Zhaotong and Kunming are different every day. It takes about 1 hour by direct flight.

Transportation in Yunnan:

Kunming is known as “spring city” due to moderate weather, it is also the capital and the largest city in Yunnan Province. There are well-known Dianchi Lake, spectacular stone forest and wonderful Dongchuan Red Land, which attracts a large number of tourists. Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, situated in the southeastern part of Yunnan, is called as the Gate of Southeast of Yunnan. Wenshan is known as the “Town of Pseudo-ginseng”, abound in high-quality pseudo-ginseng. There are beautiful Puzhehei and Xanadu Bamei Village.

Wenshan Puzhehei Airport(文山普者黑机场) is located in Yanshan County(砚山县), about 5 kilometers south of Yanshan County and 23 kilometers away from Wenshan Downtown. At present, there are 2 flights flying to and fro Kunming Changshui Airport. It takes about 50-55 minutes between Changshui Airport and Wenshan Airport.
