How to Get to Heshun Old Town from Tengchong County
Located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, Heqing (鹤庆县) ) is a county in the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. It is about 137 kilometers away from Dali City and 441 kilometers away from Kunming, bordering Lijiang City in the north. Travelers can arrive at Heqing by flight, train or bus.
How to Get to Heqing County from Kunming?
By Flight
Lijiang Sanyi International Airport, opened to the public in July 1995, is located 28 kilometers south of Lijiang downtown. Heqing county, is about 17 km away from Lijiang airport. After arrive at Lijiang Airport, taking a taxi to Heqing county is very convenient.

By Train
With the service of high-speed train from Kunming to Dali , the train from Kunming to Heqing has been cancelled. Now, travelers can take the train from Kunming to Dali and transfer to Heqing from Dali Railway Station. There are two trains running to Heqing from Dali, departing at 17:15(K6121) and 19:05(K6123). The journey takes about 2 hours at the cost of CNY 25(Hard seat), CNY 38.5(Soft Seat).
Alternatively, tourists can take the train from Kunming to Lijiang. Then take the bus to Heqing county at Lijiang Bus Station. There are many shuttle bus from Lijiang to Heqing county from 07:00 to 19:00, departing every 15 minutes. The journey takes about 1 hour at the cost of CNY 14.
By Bus
At Kunming West Bus Station, there is a daily bus running to Heqing Bus Station departing at 10:30, for CNY 163. The journey takes about six hours. Kunming West Bus Station is located at No.18, Yining Road, Xishan District, Kunming(云南省昆明市西山区益宁路18号).

Being around 50 kilometers from the Li’jiang City (Gu’cheng District)（丽江-古城区）, He’qing County（鹤庆县）is known for its water scenery, as well as its marvelous local wine. It is also one of the most famous scenic areas in Yunnan, which can be easily reached by coach and train.
How to Get to Heqing Old Town from Lijiang City (Gucheng District)

Please be noted that you will still need to transfer to He’qing County（鹤庆县） after you have arrived at Dali Ancient Town（大理古城）.
However, it is absolutely important for you to reach a deal with the coach or taxi driver before departure.

This ancient town can be reached by taking City Bus No.2; No.3; No.4; No.7; No. 10 [Route A]; No. 10 [Route B]; No.11; No.14; No.16; No.18; No.19; No.22; No.26; No. 27; No. 28; No. 30; No.31; No. 32; No.15 [Route A]; No. 15 [Route B] (ranges from 1-5), and the taxi fare from downtown area is around CNY 8 (according to the Chinese Uber, Didi). The expected time of arrival will be around 10 mins.
Address of Lijiang San’yi Airport:
Qi’he Town, Gu’cheng District, Li’jiang City, Yunnan Province
This airport can be reached by taking City Bus No. 27 (CNY 3) and Airport Express (CNY 20), and the taxi fare from downtown area is around CNY 82 (according to the Chinese Uber, Didi). The expected time of arrival will be around 35 mins. For your information, the Airport Express departs from Domestic Arrivals (Gate 3), and terminates at Min’hang Lan’tian Hotel (downtown).
2. By Regular-Speed Train
Everyday, there will be about 1 train departing from Lijiang Railway Station（丽江火车站）, and the schedule is listed as follows:
