How to Get to Haba Snow Mountain from Lijiang

By Bus

At Lijiang Bus Station, tourists can take a daily bus departing at 09:00 to Baishuitai(白水台) and get off at Haba Village(哈巴村). The journey will take about 6 hours. Located at the foot of the western Haba snow mountain, Haba village has become a major mountaineering center, attractive to those seeking a relatively easy 5,000-meter peak. 

Alternatively, you can take the bus from Lijiang Bus Station to Hutiaoxia Town(虎跳峡镇) for two hours, and then rent a local van to take you to Haba Village. Lijiang Bus Station, locating southwest to Lijiang Old Town on the Changshui Road, is the largest and the most trustworthy public transport station in Lijiang.

By Car-rental

Rent a car to Haba Snow Mountain is more convenient since you can decide your traveling time as you like. It is suitable for a flexible and comfortable way. It is better for you to rent a car with an experienced driver and a tour guide if you are foreign travelers. If you want to have more fun on the way, renting a car is highly recommended.
