Historical Background

Established in 1977, Ji Ming Mosque follows the traditional double-eaved gable roof style. The main prayer hall covers an area of 366 square meters. The entire mosque complex spans 2,000 square meters and occupies an area of 3 mu (approximately 2,000 square meters). The architecture of the main hall is meticulously crafted, featuring finely detailed wooden doors and windows adorned with geometric patterns.

Community and Facilities

Ji Ming Mosque serves 230 households and over 1,400 people, all belonging to the Hui ethnic group. Currently led by Imam Ma Desheng, the mosque also houses the Ji Ming Islamic School, which has trained over a hundred religious scholars in the region.

Cultural Contributions

Wang Lizhi, a fellow countryman from Taiwan and a member of the Taiwan Chinese National Religious Association, is renowned for his research on Muslim culture in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Thailand. He initiated and sponsored the construction of a four-story pavilion-style minaret at the mosque, completed on November 25, 1992. Additionally, he contributed to the establishment of a library on-site.
