Activity 1: Yi (Hua Yao) Competitive Sports Games — Village Committee Athletic Events

(1) Little Iron Head Big Harvest — Village Committee Athletic Event

  • Time: August 3 (Saturday), 09:00—10:30
  • Location: Dragong Black Reservoir Scenic Area Parking Lot, Dragong Black
  • Activity Content: Nine teams are divided into three groups, with each group of three teams competing in a relay race to transport small iron heads. The top three groups with the highest weight after 5 minutes of the competition will win.

(2) Sheep Sprint — Village Committee Athletic Event

  • Time: After the Little Iron Head Big Harvest event
  • Location: Dragong Black Reservoir Scenic Area Parking Lot, Dragong Black
  • Activity Content: Nine teams are divided into three groups, with each group of three teams competing in a relay race to transport lambs. The top three groups with the shortest time will win.

(3) Bajie Charges Forward — Village Committee Athletic Event

  • Time: After the Sheep Sprint event
  • Location: Dragong Black Reservoir Scenic Area Parking Lot, Dragong Black
  • Activity Content: Nine teams are divided into three groups, with each group of three teams competing. Before the game starts, teams will draw lots to decide which pig (numbered according to the draw) they will use. One team member will guide the pig to another team member, who will then guide the pig back to the starting point. The top three teams with the shortest time will win.

Activity 2: Treasure Hunt in the Forest — Tourist Entertainment Activity

  • Time: After the Bajie Charges Forward event
  • Location: Behind the Dragong Black Reservoir Parking Lot, Dragong Black
  • Activity Content: Registration fee is 10 RMB/person. Treasure hunting lasts for 10 minutes, and the “treasure” found is kept by the individual (staff will hide colored imitation eggs in the woods; the color of the egg found will correspond to a specific item given to the treasure hunter). The individual with the most items collected will be named the “Treasure King” and receive a Running Chicken Gift Box.

Activity 3: Yi (Hua Yao) Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Display

(1) Thousand People Yi Hua Yao Kilometer Parade

  • Time: August 3 (Saturday), 14:00—15:30
  • Location: In front of the Central Primary School to the Cultural Square

(2) Yi (Hua Yao) Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Performance

  • Time: August 3 (Saturday), 15:30—17:30
  • Location: Shaochong Town Cultural Station

Activity 4: Yi (Hua Yao) Torch Festival Bonfire Party

  • Time: August 3 (Saturday), 20:00—22:30
  • Location: Shaochong Town Cultural Station
  • Activity Content: Awards ceremony, Bimo sacrificial rites and blessings, sacrificial dance performances, fire collection, lighting ceremony, two-kilometer parade of a thousand torchbearers, and a grand bonfire party with thousands of people.
