Li Yunyi(李云义) was born in 1942, and he is Bai ethnic minority, a member of Changyu Village, Shuanglang Town, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture(大理白族自治州双廊镇长育村人). He is good at Architectural Painting (Painting of Bai Nationality Residences白族居民彩绘) and he is a representative successor of the project.
Li Yunyi was fond of folk art when he was a child. After graduating from high school he returned home, he began to further study and research on colored drawing, and got the advice of Li Wenxiu(李文秀) who is an old folk artist. Since 1988, through learning and practicing, he have mastered the Bai nationality’s painting process and various expression techniques, and have his own technical characteristics. On the basis of the tradition of color design, his innovations about architecture and colored drawing harmonious, natural and generous; relief is another skill that he is good at. He is a well-known Bai folk house painter.
His representative works include: Dazhaobi of Jizu Mountain Zhusheng Temple in Binchuan, Dali: Daofang Panorama of Jizu Mountain大理宾川鸡足山祝圣寺的大照壁;(鸡足山道坊全景图), Molong Picture(墨龙图) of Jizu Mountain cultural relics room , Painting of Bai ethnic minority’s wall in Yunnan Ethnic Village(云南民族村中白族村的照壁彩绘), Painting on both sides of the stage in Wenchang Palace(文昌宫) in Dali, etc.
During his life time, he teaches his apprentices skills that he mastered to foster the next generation. At present, his apprentices include his son Li Yanfeng(李艳峰), Zheng Tang(郑堂) and Yang Hu(杨虎), he have made positive contributions to the inheritance and protection of Bai folk house paintings.
He is a national inheritor of Bai house painting project.

Cha Chunmei(茶春梅) was born in 1962 in Qingyun Village(青云村), Ma’anshan Township(马鞍山乡), Weishan(巍山) Yi Autonomous County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. She is a representative inheritor of the Yi Dage Project which is Folk Song and Dance of Yi Ethnic Minority.
Cha Chunmei loved the folk songs and dances of the Yi Ethnic since childhood, and pursued the folk art of the Yi Ethnic. She gradually grew into a backbone of folk songs and dances and won praises from the masses.
Her Dage has bright rhythm and diverse pace, such as Sixteen Steps of Swaying(十六步平摆), Sanbu Yinian(三步一掂), Banfan Banzhaun(半翻半转), Sanfan Liangzhuan(三翻两转) , etc. In addition to Yi Dage, she can also sing many Yi folk songs. With sweet and high voice, she is a well-known folk singer.
In recent years, she has participated in various performances organized by the province, state and county. In 2006, he participated in the provincial cultural system reform and cultural industry seminar welcoming performance; performed at CCTV “2006 Chinese folk songs and dances festival “.
Cha Chunmei is not only the leader of the art of singing, but also actively teaches the art of singing songs to the folks, cultivates the talents of subsequent generations, and promotes the inheritance and development of the art of singing.

Zhao Pidding(赵丕鼎), Bai ethnic minority, was born in 1942 in Zuoyi village(作邑村), Xizhou town(喜洲镇), Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture(大理白族自治州), the inheritor of Raosanling(绕三灵) of Bai people . Zhao Piding was born in a family of Bai folk artists. His great-grandfather, grandfather and father were all performing artists of Bai folk Daben songs(大本曲). Since his childhood, he has been influenced by what he has seen and heard.
He started to perform in 1964.he is familiar with the “three tune”(三腔), “Jiuban”(九板), “eighteen melody”(十八调) of the Daben song(大本曲) in the performance, and use them freely. He integrated the characteristics of southern and northern tune , so as to apply them to different records and characters flexibly . Daben song is a part of Bai people’s folk activities — Raosanling ceremony. His articulation is clear, singing tune is mellow, he can play many roles by himself and change vocal cavity. He is deeply deeply loved by the masses, becoming a quite famous Daben song singing artist.
ZhaoPiding has a good understanding of the historical origin and folk activities of Raosanling ceremony, and has a good command of all kinds of sacrifices, rituals and performances in the folk activities. Moreover, he can play a guiding role in this folk activity and is the leader of Bai folk traditional culture. Zhao Piding collected more than 80 traditional scripts, and adapted and created nearly 100 new ones. He compiled and published three traditional scripts — Records of Liaodong(《辽东记》), Butterfly Lovers(《梁祝配》) and Butterfly Spring(《蝴蝶泉》), and cultivated more than 40 successors of this script. Now he is the honorary chairman of Ballad Singers Association(曲艺家协会) of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture and has been awarded the titles of “Yunnan Folk Musician”(云南省民族民间音乐师) and “Dali Folk Art Master”(大理州民间艺术大师).

Zhang Shishen(张仕绅,1941-) is the inheritor of Tie-dyeing Skills of Bai Ethnic Minority(白族扎染技艺) in Xizhou Town(喜洲镇), Dali(大理).
Zhang Shishen plays an important role in the inheritance and development of Tie-dyeing Skills of Bai Ethnic Minority.Since 1987, he has been the director of Tie -dyeing Nationnality Factory in Dali(大理民族扎染厂) for more than 20 years. With his unique development concept and management model, he has established an unknown small factory into a well-known enterprise at home and abroad. The products are exported to more than 10 countries and major cities in China, which has created considerable economic benefits for the local villagers.The problem of employment of surplus rural labor force in Zhoucheng Village(周城村), surrounding villages and Weishan County(巍山县) was solved, which promoted the initiative of Bai ethnic people in Zhoucheng Village to consciously inherit and develop Tie-dyeing skills.
Zhang Shishen loved Bai ethnic folk art since childhood. In 1956, he followed his mother to learn the Tie-dyeing Skills of Bai Ethnic Minority. Through more than 20 years of continuous exploration, he innovated and developed the Tie-dyeing methods and flower-color varieties, depending on the Traditional Tie-dyeing methods and fermentation liquid, Mudi(母滴).Five tie-dyeing techniques, such as folding(折叠法), sewing(平缝法) and winding(缠绕法), have been developed to 26 kinds of tie-dyeing, such as pick-and-tie(挑扎), hook-tie(勾扎) and combination-tie(组合扎). Flower patterns have developed from three kinds of pinch flowers, small butterflies and caterpillars to various patterns such as Fu, Lu, Shou, Xi(福禄寿喜), Flowers, Birds, Fishes and Insects(花鸟鱼虫).Product varieties have developed from the original sheets to window curtains, door curtains, tablecloths, scarves, headscarves, backpacks, hanging bags, shoes, hats, clothes and so on. He also used other plants and modern bleaching technology to develop red, yellow, green, emerald, jade green and other colors.
