Construction began in 1938, and the original total building area was not specified in square meters. During the “Cultural Revolution,” it was confiscated and converted into a collective cafeteria and warehouse.

However, due to years of neglect and severe damage, coupled with an increase in the number of worshippers, the old mosque could no longer meet the needs of the community.
