2018 China Kunming International Stone EXPO (10-17th July 2018)

It is the biggest exhibition of stone in the Asia. Founded in 2007, China Kunming International Stone Expo has been successfully held for the 11 years to now, and it has become the large-scale of regional international professional stone exhibition. In the Kunming Stone Expo 2018 there are around 4,000 booths with over 60,000 square meters, divided into jewelry and jade hall, boutique hall, stone crafts hall. Lancang-mekong river cooperation expo (23-27 Aug 2018)

Yunnan, in the ancient southern silk road route, is China and the “silk road economic belt” and “Marine silk road” in the 21st century “in” cooperation of countries along the important carrier of the province, is China’s participation in one of the major province of lancang – Mekong river of the construction of cooperation mechanism.

“Seed exhibition, seed expo, seed trade fair, China seed expo”
Covering an area of 50,000 m2, the 11th China (Kunming ) Seed expo has more than 2,000 booths, and attracts over 1,000 exhibitors from around the world and more than 60,000 professional visitors from China and Southeast countries. The expo exhibits all kinds of seed and related equipment, including: fruit and vegetable seeds, corn seeds, rice seed, pasture seeds, flower seed, herbal seeds, seed treating agent, seed inspection equipment, and seed processing and producing equipment. The expo is supposed to provide a platform for seed companies, trader, distributors, wholesalers to meet business partners, to seek for new cooperative opportunities, and to expand their business.

Kunming was selected as the most competitive exhibition city in China at the launch event of the 2018 competitiveness index of China’s urban exhibition industry held in Chengdu on Nov 2, It was the third time that Kunming was awarded the honor since 2015.

Kunming took the lead in implementing the legislation of the exhibition industry by setting up the Kunming convention and exhibition industry policy and regulation system, as well as the industry development support system, pushing forward the orderly and methodical development of the city’s convention and exhibition industry.

Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center was founded in 1992, covering an area of 225,000 square meters, with a construction area of 240,000 square meters. It has seven large indoor single exhibition halls, with an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, which can accommodate 2,500 standard exhibition booths and 20,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition area. It is a well-known Convention and exhibition enterprise with integrated service functions of exhibition, conference, catering, property, hotel, fitness and entertainment, which was built earlier in China. The exhibition halls of the Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center cover a building area of 1.17 million square meters. The pavilions and ancillary facilities are not only the first-class in China but also second to none in Asia. The 23 pavilions each have an indoor exhibition area of over 10,000 square meters. In addition, there is an outdoor exhibition area of 100,000 square meters.

Kunming’s 500KM Music Festival

For the seventh time, Kunming’s “500KM City Music Festival” kicks off – this year end of June. A large variety of Chinese and international bands on three different stages will rock Yunnan’s capital during two days!
First launched in 2010, the organizers hoped, such a music festival could attract more musicians and music lovers to Kunming. After 7 years, this festival belongs to one of China’s top ten music festivals.
This year, many renowned bands and singers will join in the performance, including Australian Lenka Kripac, DJEMBA DJEMBA from the US as well as Miserable Faith (痛苦信仰乐队) and Chen li(陈粒).
This year, the festival is held close to the Dianchi Lake at Kunming Dianchi International Convention & Exhibition Center, the place, where we used to attend travel fairs. Besides the three main stages (“Five Hundreds Kilometers”, “Cloud stage” and “South stage”), two special zones are added: The “Techno Rave Town” as well as “Air Space”, an area for sport and a pool party.

South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF)

As a brand-new commodity expo and investment fair, which has the same theme as China-South Asia Expo, SSACEIF is widely acknowledged by people home and abroad. 51 countries and areas around the world have comfirmed to attend the expo. Besides, 17 pavilions will be set during the expo. Yunnan province has held promotional conference of the 2017 South-Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF) respectively in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen City, according to the Executive Committee. Yunnan province accountability units will play their own advantages to make sure SSACEIF a huge success. Meanwhile, 22 provinces and municipalities will support and cooperate with Kunming as well.

Seventeen exhibition halls including the opening exhibition hall contain 8,000 standard booths. For instance, tourism exhibition hall, healthy and marine bio pharmaceutical exhibition hall, and manufacturing exhibition hall the like. Langcang-Mekong Subregion Nation Commodities Exposition and Theme Forum

2016 First Langcang-Mekong Subregion Nation Commodities Exposition & Theme Forum officially kicks off on November 15th at Kunming Dianchi International Conference and Exhibition Center.

The activity altogether includes 5 parts, namely the products exhibition, theme forum, business negotiation, entrepreneurship and innovation activities, cultural exchanges. As for the products exhibition part, the total area achieves 80,000 square meters. Altogether 3,000 international standard booths are provided. Kunming Dianchi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center was completed and put into use in 2015. The project covers an area of about 2331 mu and a total construction area of about 5.4 million square meters. It ranks the third in the country and the first in southwest China. Tencent Global Digital Ecology Conference 2019

Tencent Global Digital Ecology Conference 2019 was held from May 21 to 23, lasted three days. With Kunming as the starting point, Tencent Global Digital Ecology Conference will follow up with regional industrial and economic development characteristics, landing in many cities throughout the country. Zeng Jiaxin, vice president of Tencent Yun, introduced that the Kunming Summit of Tencent Global Digital Ecology Conference will be composed of three major sections: the main summit, sub-forums and digital ecology exhibition. Among them, the main summit held on May 21 will focus on the development trend of the integration of digital economy and real economy. Tencent will also announce the latest strategic cooperation and opening policy, important products in the fields of science, technology and culture, and the latest industrial cooperation plan. The 19th China Kunming International Flower Show

The flower show, themed “Flowering Colorful Yunnan, Blooming ‘Belt and Road'” will last from July 13 to 15, with an exhibition area of more than 30,000 square meters and 1,052 booths. Over 300 companies will attend the event, including well-known international flower companies such as Dummen Orange and Anthura from the Netherlands. More than 3,000 entrepreneurs, officials and flower artists from Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Netherlands, Israel, Japan and Germany are also expected to participate.
