  It is the largest and most prominent international airport in Bangladesh. It is located in Kurmitola 11 miles (17 kilometres) from city centre, in the northern part of the capital city Dhaka. It can be accessed by the eight-lane Airport Road. There is a railway station immediately opposite to the airport named Airport Railway Station.
• Shah Amanat International Airport
  Shah Amanat International Airport (IATA: CGP, ICAO: VGEG) (Bengali: শাহ আমানত আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর Shah Amanôt Antôrjatik Bimanbôndôr) is an international airport serving Bangladesh’s southeastern port city of Chittagong. Operated and maintained by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, it is the second-largest international airport in Bangladeshafter Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is used by the Bangladesh Air Force as a part of ‘BAF Zahurul Haq Base’. It was formerly known as MA Hannan International Airport, named after Awami League politician M. A. Hannan, but was renamed on 2 April 2005 by the Government of Bangladesh, after an Islamic saint, Shah Amanat.   Osmani Airport (Bengali: ওসমানী আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর, Osmānī antorjatik bimanbondor) (IATA: ZYL, ICAO: VGSY) is third largest airport in Bangladesh after Dhaka and Chittagong. The airport is operated by the Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB) and is served by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national airline, which at one point earned most of its revenue from this airport. Private airlines    Novoairand US-Bangla Airlines operate domestic flights to Dhaka. The vast majority of passengers using the airport are expatriate Bangladeshis and their descendants from the Sylhet Division living in the United Kingdom.

Land

Nepal borders Tibet and many people choose to enter Nepal by land. The specific method is: take a bus from Lhasa to reach the Zhangmu border, and take a local bus to Kathmandu after leaving Zhangmu. This route is already very mature. It is possible to meet Chinese tourists all the way. You can choose to carpool together. From Lhasa to Zhangmu, you can book a bus through the hotel or pay attention to the private cars coming to ask at the gate of Nepal’s consulate in Lhasa for visas. It is a good choice if there are more people to charter a bus.So when you arrive in Yunnan from Nepal, you can take a bus from Tibet to Nepal.

There is no direct train from Kunming to Tibet. You can take the train to Chengdu and then to Tibet.

Self driving

State Highway 214 Yunnan-Tibet Line

The Yunnan-Tibet line, as its name implies, refers to the highway connecting Yunnan to Tibet. The first half of the road starts from Kunming, Yunnan, passes through Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La and Deqin, reaches Mangkang, Tibet, and coincides with the Sichuan-Tibet South Line of National Highway 318. The total length is nearly 2400 kilometers, and the second half of the section joins 318 national highway.

• Mandalay International Airport 曼德勒国际机场
  It is located 35 km south of Mandalay in Tada-U, is one of only three international airports in Myanmar. Completed in 1999, the airport was the largest and most modern airport in the country until the modernization of Yangon International Airport in 2008. The airport connects 11 domestic and seven international destinations. It is the main operating base of Golden Myanmar Airlines.

Trans-Asian Railway

The Trans-Asian Railway (TAR) is a project to create an integrated freight railway network across Europe and Asia. It is a project of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). The Southern Corridor will go from Europe to Southeast Asia, connecting Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Thailand, with links to China’s Yunnan Province and, via Malaysia, to Singapore. A Southeast Asian network; this primarily consists of the Kunming–Singapore Railway.

Yunnan-Laos Railway

At present, the railway from Yuxi to Mohan is under construction and it is expected to be open to traffic by 2021. The main stops from north to south are Yuxi, Yanhe, Eshan, Luoli, Yuanjiang , Mojiang, Ninger, Puer, Mengyang, Xishuangbanna, Ganlanba, Mengla, Mohan. By then, tourists can take the train to Mohan Border.

Laos-Yunnan Coaches

The Laos – China bus service is available for Yunnan, the border province of China. Buses from Laos to China go to Meng La, Jing Hong and Kunming prefecture, in Yunnan province (the province that shares a border with Phongsaly Province in Laos). There are coaches running from Vientiane to Kunming via Luang Prabang. Six coaches are available from Luang Prabang to Jinghong city of Xishuangbanna. Please note that some of the coaches are not daily and contact us for the coach information before you go.
