Dali City (Xiaguan Town)-Binchuan County Transportation

Binchuan County(宾川县) and Dali City are both under the jurisdiction of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Binchuan County is located in the west of Yunnan Province, the south bank of Jinsha River(金沙江). It borders Dayao County(大姚县) of Chuxiong Prefecture in the east, Connects Xiangyun County(祥云县) in the south, Dali City and Eryuan County in the west, as well as Heqing County in the North. The county seat of Binchuan County is 68 kilometers away from Dali City(Xiaguan) and 394 kilometers from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. Binchuan is a multi-ethnic county dominated by Han nationality, there are 25 ethnic groups living there. National AAAA level scenic area, Jizu Mountain(鸡足山), is right here.

How to Get to Binchuan County from Dali City(Xiaguan Town)

With a distance of about 110 kilometers, tourists can go from Dali City to Binchuan County mainly by long-distance bus.

1. Long-distance Bus

The transportation between Dali City and Binchuan County refers to two main long-distance bus stations, Dali Bus Station and Binchuan Bus Terminal. There are many buses from Dali City to Binchuan County, and the journey is about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Jizu Mountain is the most popular attraction in Binchuan County. Every year, a large number of tourists go to Jizu Mountain to worship. When you are there in Binchuan County, you must go to Jizu Mountain.

Jizu Mountain (Chinese name: 鸡足山) is a national AAAA level scenic spot in Binchuan County of Dali. It is a Buddhist shrine enjoying good fame in South Asia and Southeast Asia and one of China's top ten famous Buddhist mountains and important national scenic area in Dali. It is a multifunctional tourist attraction based on Buddhist culture and ecological landscape, combining Buddhist pilgrimage, Buddhist studies, tourism and science expeditions.
