    Mile is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, which is located in the southeast of Yunnan Province and the north of Honghe Prefecture. The transportation of the city extends in all directions. It's about 60 km from Shilin county of Kunming which can be reached by train, bus and car-rental.

    How to Get to Mile City from Shilin County?

    By Train

    At Shilin West Railway Station, there are five high-speed train running through Mile. It takes about 18 minutes, for CNY 16(Second class seat) - 25.5(First class seat).

    By Bus

    At Xiaodongshan Buyuanzhan of Shilin(小东山补员站), tourists can take the bus to Mile City at the cost of CNY 12. There are only a few buses running to Mile, so it's not recommended.

    By Car-rental

    Renting a car is more convenient since you can decide your traveling time as you like. It is better for you to rent a car with an experienced driver and a tour guide if you are foreign travelers. The driver of chartering car can stop for you to enjoy the scenery and take photos.
