Dahuicun Mosque (通海县大回村清真寺) was originally constructed during the Ming Dynasty.

Renovations and Reconstructions

The mosque was rebuilt into a two-story structure covering 600 square meters. Due to limited space and increasing population, the villagers built a larger main hall consisting of three rooms in March of the ninth year of the Daoguang reign (1829). In 1946, under the leadership of Ma Zhenghe (马政和) and Ma Zhonghua (马重华), the mosque was expanded to its current scale.

The mosque features timber-frame construction and embodies the traditional Chinese classical palace architectural style.

There are currently 3 education directors (学董), 15 imams (阿訇), and 25 mullahs (满拉). The community includes 285 Muslim households, totaling 1,156 individuals, all of whom are Hui (回族) and follow the Jahriyya (哲赫忍耶) sect. The mosque preserves over 30 volumes of Arabic scriptures.
