In the morning, Our guide will meet you at your hotel, then drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain which is 30 kilometers away from Lijiang Old Town. Visit Ganhaizi Meadow, then take the sightseeing bus to visit Baishui River, which is well-known as the Blue Moon Valley from the glacier of the snow mountain.
Take chairlift to visit the Glacier Park Cableway (5396M) in the snow mountain. The Glacier Park at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a popular and breathtaking destination for visitors seeking to experience the majestic snow peaks of this iconic mountain. Taking the Glacier Park Cableway (chairlift) is one of the best ways to reach the Glacier Park at an altitude of 5,396 meters (17,705 feet). This cable car ride provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountain landscape and takes you closer to the glacier.
Watch Impression Lijiang Ethnic Show in the outdoors theater in front of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.The Impression Lijiang Ethnic Show is one of the most popular cultural performances in Yunnan Province, set against the stunning backdrop of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Directed by renowned filmmaker Zhang Yimou, who also directed the famous Impression Sanjie Liu show in Yangshuo, this outdoor theater performance blends ethnic music, dance, and stunning natural landscapes to tell the story of the diverse cultures and traditions of the Naxi, Yi, Tibetan, and other ethnic groups in the Lijiang region. It’s an immersive and visually spectacular show that offers a unique way to experience the culture and beauty of this region.
In the afternoon, visit Baisha Old Town which is one of the oldest towns in Lijiang City. It got its name “Baisha” meaning “white sand” from the natural white sand in the area. It was the cradle-land of the Tusi Dynasty evolved from the Mu Clan. It was also the earliest settlement of the Naxi people. In ancient times, Baisha was a center of silk embroidery in southwest China and an important place on the Ancient Tea and Horse Road.
Finaly we will visit the Baisha Mural which has a history of about 600 years, it was listed in the World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO 1997. Transfer back to your hotel, service ends.
