Kunming-Baoshan Transportation

Located nearly 500 kilometers (310 miles) from the provincial capital Kunming, Baoshan City is situated in the southwest of Yunnan Province, bordered by Burma in the south and northwest. It neighbors Lincang Region in the east, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture in the northeast and Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture in the southwest. It can be reached by air and long-distance bus.

How to get to Baoshan from Kunming

By Air

Baoshan Yunrui Airport is situated at the southern part of Baoshan and is 9 kilometers from the downtown of Longyang District, Baoshan City. At present, 10 scheduled flights from Kunming are available every day.

Stops: Jiulong Bus Station, Minghe(traffic police bus station), Sanguanpaifang, Mali Commercial Center(atrium)

By Long-distance Bus

There are two Passenger Transport Bus Stations in Baoshan, which are the South Passenger Transport Bus Station and the North Passenger Transport Bus Station. Tourists can take the coach to from Kunming West Bus Station and Kunming South Rail Bus Station. The journey take about 7 hours.
