Weixin County History

In Xia and Shang kingdom, Weixin was the territory of Liangzhou prefecture(梁州). In Qin and Han dynasty, it belonged to Shu prefecture (蜀郡). In 109 AD, Weixin was subordinate to Nanguang county(南广县) of Qianwei prefecture and then in 214 AD, Weixin was under the command of Shushi prefecture. In Tang dynasty, it was subordinate to Dongan county(东安县) of Xiezhou prefecture. In Song dynasty, it was the territory of Xvzhou prefecture. Later, in Ming dynasty, it was under the command of Mangbu prefecture tile the perish of Qin dynasty.
