From around 5–6 PM, people gather along the Lancang River to fish, stroll, or cool off by soaking their feet in the water. Some locals swim in the river to escape the summer heat.

As night falls, the riverside night market comes alive. Compared to the Starlight Night Market (星光夜市) at Gaozhuang Xishuangjing (告庄西双景), this market caters more to local residents and offers affordable prices. The nearby bar street is also popular, especially venues with Dai Di (傣迪) music and energetic live performances.
