Lijiang to Tiger Leaping Gorge Transportation

The Tiger Leaping Gorge （虎跳峡）is divided into two regions by the canyon. One located in Li’jiang（丽江）and the other located in Shangri-La（香格里拉）. It is famous for its rapid current, as well as dominating mountains.

As for the transportation from Li’jiang（丽江）to Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge (Shangri-La Side) （上虎跳峡-香格里拉）, the only available option is long distance coach, which can be found in Li’jiang Coach Terminal（丽江客运站）. The journey is about 85 kilometers, and the schedule is listed as follows:

This coach terminal can be reached by taking City Bus No.16, and the taxi fare from downtown area is around (according to the Chinese Uber, Didi). The expected time of arrival will be around 10 mins.

As for the transportation from Li’jiang（丽江）to Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge （中虎跳峡）,  the only available option is long distance coach, which can be found in Li’jiang Ancient Town（丽江古城）and Li’jiang Coach Terminal（丽江客运站）. The journey is about 95 kilometers, and the schedule is listed as follows:
