Yuanyang Hani Rice Terraces Transportation By Train

At present, there is no direct train from Kunming to Yuanyang Hani Rice Terraces. You can take the train to Jianshui or Mengzi first, and then take the bus to Yuanyang. Next, I will briefly introduce these train information to you.

1. Kunming – Jianshui – Yuanyang

You can take a train to Jianshui from Kunming. It takes around three hours to get there. Then take the bus to Yuanyang County. The ticket price is about 30 RMB by non-stop train from Kunming Railway Station(昆明火车站) to Jianshui County(建水县), and the schedule is listed as follows:

If you take a bus from Kunming to Jianshui in the morning, if you have enough time, you can visit the ancient city of Jianshui. After that, you can go to Xinjie Town and take a bus to various scenic spots. There are minibuses to go to scenic spots. The fare is 5-10 yuan.

2. Yuxi – Jianshui – Yuanyang
