A: Yes. Safety is not a problem. But in crowded areas like markets, you must keep an eye on your personal belongings.

Q: Do I need to do anything for cold and sunburn in Kunming?
A：Yes. In Kunming, the sunshine is ample, the temperature difference is relatively sharp in winter and spring and between sunny and rainy days, so visitors should get prepared for in this regard.
Q: Will there be problems with the language?
A: Generally, language is a problem. But many people can understand a little English. Most tourist sites, hotels, restaurants, banks, shops, and roads in Kunming are also in English. Many hotel staff speak excellent English, and travel agencies in Kunming have foreign-language-speaking tour guides.
Q: What is the weather like in Kunming and when is the best time for travel there?

Q: What about food in Kunming?
A: The cuisine available in Kunming is quite diverse. Because of the large minority population in Yunnan, the local food has an almost endless variety, and is far more delicious than anything you could find in a Chinese restaurant in the West. Q: What are the currency and the ATM system in Kunming like?
A: Like all other parts of China, Renminbi or Chinese Yuan is the currency, and many shops also accept Euros and US dollars, and Visa card, Master card are widely accepted for payment. ATM is also widely set for major banks including Bank of china, China Construction Bank, China Agriculture Bank, and China Commercial and Industrial Bank. If you want to change money, you can do it at any Bank of China branch office.
Q: What about the service time?
A: Banks and post offices usually start work at 09:00, and finish at 17:00 from Sunday to Friday. But in the city some banks are still open on Saturday and Sunday.
