Mosque Size
The main prayer hall covers 120 square meters, and the entire mosque has a built-up area of over 1,000 square meters.
Architectural Style
The main hall adopts a traditional Xuan-style (悬山式) roof structure. The south, north, and east sides are enclosed by two-story brick-and-wood structures. Doors, windows, and railings are all made of intricately carved wood, forming a refined architectural ensemble that creates a closed quadrangle layout with the main hall.
Key Features
The courtyard is adorned with tall pine and cypress trees, offering a serene and elegant environment. Before liberation, the mosque hosted a women’s school and even a religious college where scholars such as Ma Jinzhi (马进芝) taught Islamic scriptures. A historical plaque presented by Bai Chongxi (白崇禧) with the inscription “Promote Religion and Save the Nation” (兴教救国) is preserved inside the mosque.
