Laojiezi Village (老街子村) is located in Qiaotou Miao and Zhuang Township (桥头苗族壮族乡), He Kou County (河口县), in the southeastern part of the Honghe Prefecture. Situated in a mountainous area with an elevation of 1,400 meters, the village enjoys a pleasant climate with an average annual temperature of 16 – 18°C. It is home to 388 households and a population of 1,713, predominantly made up of the Miao and Zhuang ethnic groups.
