English Name:Liushao Potato Flowers Sea in Xundian County, Kunming
Liushao Township is located in the central-western part of Xundian, characterized by high-altitude mountainous terrain dominated by red soil. The most famous feature of Liushao is its vast fields of potato flowers. While these small flowers are usually unremarkable, from mid to late June each year, Liushao’s tens of thousands of acres of potato flowers bloom in a stunning array of colors. Dianchi Lake, as the largest freshwater lake in Yunnan Province, is about 300 square kilometers (74,132 acres). With picturesque scenery and its location on the Yungui Plateau, the lake has a reputation as ‘A Pearl on the Plateau’. Cycling around Dian Lake could be a very good experience for that you can visit many wetland parks and local villages and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way.

Day 1 Kunming-Jinning-Kunming
Sightseeing and Activities:Cycling from Kunming downtown to Jinning County

Drive to pick your bicycle. Start cycling from Kunming downtown. Ride around Dian Lake about 50 km to Gu Dian Park (about 4 -5 hours) to finish today’s cycling. Then get on our car and drive back to Kunming downtown. Service ends.

After lunch, visit Golden Temple.

Pick you up at your hotel. Drive to Lufeng County in Chuxiong City, Lufeng is the site of numerous Jurassic dinosaur discoveries, first found there in 1938. Most well known is Lufengosaurus, a Jurassic prosauropod. More recently, teeth and a skull of Ramapithecus, a Miocene period primate related to the orangutan, have been found in Lufeng. Visit Lufeng World Dinosaur Valley and Dinosaur Museum in it.
In the afternoon , drive back to your hotel in Kunming. Service ends.
