Dali – Lincang High Speed Train

The Dali-Lincang railway is located in the southwest of Yunnan Province. The northern end of the line connects Kunming and Panzhihua through the mass line and Chengdu-Kunming line. The planned Lincang-Qingshui River railway connects ports like Qingshui River in Mengding to the southwest and the planned Lincang-Pu ‘er railway connects Yumo railway to the southeast. It is a convenient railway channel connecting Qingshui River port and southern Yunnan in western Yunnan. The total length of the line is 202.1 kilometers, with a total investment of 15.047 billion yuan. The design standard is Grade I single track of the National Railway, with a driving speed of 160 kilometers per hour. The project will officially start construction after the bidding is completed in the early stage at the end of December 2015. The design period is 5.5 years and is planned to be completed by the end of June 2021.
