Shuangbai County (双柏县) is located in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan province. It is located in the hinterland of Yunnan, east of the Ailao Mountains, 58 km away from Chuxiong Prefecture, 210 km away from Kunming. In 2012, Shuangbo County was named by the Ministry of Culture as “the hometown of Chinese Folk Art” and “the hometown of Yi people’s Culture in Shuangbai County”.
