From Lijiang, you’ll drive about 60KM to the First Bend on the Yangtze River with imposing gorge scenery, and the Iron Chain Bridge in Shigu Old Town. The town of Stone Drum got its name from a large, cylindrical, marble tablet shaped like a drum. The scenery is magnificent as the road running through the Lijiang valley which is filled with wheat fields and drying haystacks.

Continue the driving of 40KM more to visit the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge (Shangri-La side), the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called the Jinsha in this area because you can find gold in the river.

Drive along the road to Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge . We will choose the most wonderful part of Tiger Leaping Gorge for the hiking adventure. Start the hiking tour from 14KM Point, trek along the road to Bendiwan Village and have lunch in Half-way Guesthouse where you will have a fantastic view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the balcony of the guesthouse.

Welcome to Kunming, the Spring City of China! Upon arrival at the Kunming airport/train station, the local tour guide and driver will meet you in the arrival hall and escort you to your hotel. Day 2 Kunming

In the morning, drive 1.5hrs to Shilin County. After arrival, you will have a tour of Stone Forest which is one of the largest plantations of rapeseed flowers in Southwest China. Combined with a unique terrain dominated by karst features with small basins among mountain ranges, the place boasts very unique landscape features.

Day 3 Kunming – Dali

In the morning, take the high speed train to Dali (2 hours). Meet your local guide. Three Pagodas are made of three ancient independent pagodas forming a symmetrical triangle.

Then head for Xizhou Town to explore their distinctive culture. Xizhou is our home. This little village has been called ‘a living art museum’ due to its unusual concentration of nationally protected heritage sites, mostly including architecture that spans the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) until the creation of New China in 1949, but also includes centuries old trees, parks, and wildlife preserves.

Day 4 Dali – Nanjian – Xiaowan – Fengqing

Continue the driving to Xiangzhuqing village in Xiaowan township of Fengqing County. In the late afternoon, pay a visit to Xiangzhuqing Acient Tea Trees（香竹箐古茶树）. In Xiangzhuqing village, lies a massive, ancient tree. Colloquially referred to as the Mother tea tree, this magnificent giant is about 35 feet tall (which is extremely tall for a tea tree), and is so wide that it’s said that it takes eight people holding outstretched hands to full surround the tree. Besides her gargantuan size, this tree is also remarkable for its unmatched history. This ancient tree is recorded as being over 3,200 years old, it is called “the Mother of Tea Trees”. Now, it is protected and fenced by the local government.

Drive to Dali City. Visit Dali Ancient Town which is 13 kilometers away from Xiaguan in Dali City. With Erhai Lake to the east, and Cangshan Mountain to the west, its grand city wall, traditional Bai ethnic minority folk houses and marvelous scenery have attracted many visitors. The tour in Dali Ancietn Town will include the Forigners Street,the Gate Towers and the Ancient City Wall.

In the afternoon, drive to Lijiang City. You will be relaxed around Lijiang Old Town, a well-preserved old city of ethnic minorities with brilliant culture, is a central town of the Lijiang Autonomous County of the Naxi Ethnic Minority in Yunnan Province.

Enjoy the sunrise of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Lijiang Ancient Town in the morning, drive about 30KM to Ganhaizi Meadow(3100M), you will take the sightseeig bus for a short visiting through the Baishuihe River in Blue Moon Valey, take the chairlift up to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The cableway will be arranged according to the condition of the mountain. You will hike around 1 hours in the original forest in Spruce Meadow (3200M).

After lunch, enjoy Impression Lijiang Show which is A Spectacular Show with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as the Backdrop, directed by the famous director Zhang Yimou.

Stroll through Baisha Old Town, which is an enchanting traditional Naxi style old town. Visit the Baisha Murals about 600 years old, which is one part of the World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO 1997. Pick you up at your hotel. Drive to the foot of Cangshan Mountain called Heyang Cun (literally “Sun Crane Village”). The hike begins at the top of Heyang Village at an elevation of approximately 2000 metres. On the way, you willl pass through wild tea gardens and meet many pine trees. Go on hiking till at 12:30 pm, have a good rest and have your lunch in a pavilion. Hike to Taoxi Valley to see waterfall and rivers in the valley. Hike through meadows and many Azalea flowers to Xiaocenfeng Peak, altitude 4092m.

Then go downhill. Take our car back to Dali Old Town, service ends.

At 08:30 am, meet your guide & driver at the entrance to Lijiang Old Town (Big Water Wheel) and then drive to Shangri-La city. On the way, have a nice view of the First Bend of Yangtze River from afar and continue to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge which is the deepest gorge in the world.

After that, drive about 2 hours to Shangri-La and check in hotel. Later stroll around Dukezong Ancient Town and walk up to the top of Guishan Hill to see the Grand Prayer Wheel and have a panoramic view of Shangri-La city and Dukezong Ancient Town.

After the tour, back to the hotel and have a good rest.

In the morning, drive to visit Songzanlin Monastery. Built in 1679, the monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple complex in Yunnan province and one of the famous monasteries in the Kang region, which belongs to the Yellow Hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism of the Gelukpa order of the Dalai Lama.

After that, drive to visit Napa Lake. Established in 1984, it is a wetland ecosystem protection zone to plateau seasonal lakes and marsh meadows. Also pay a visit a local Tibetan family and have a simple Tibetan lunch for free.

Drive back to Shangri-La city and service ends.

Visit Ganhaizi Meadow, then take the sightseeing bus to visit Baishui River, which is well-known as the Blue Moon Valley from the glacier of the snow mountain. Take chairlift to visit the Spruce Meadow(3200 meters) in the snow mountain. Watch Impression Lijiang Ethnic Show in the outdoors theater in front of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

In the afternoon, visit Baisha Old Town and the Baisha Mural which has a history of about 600 years, it was listed in the World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO 1997. Pick you up from your hotel in the morning. Drive to visit Songzanlin Monastery-the largest Tibetan monastery in Yunnan. Songzanlin Monastery has another alias – ‘the little Potala Palace ‘, so named because the whole monastery is in the traditional style with mysterious atmosphere.

Then pay a visit to Baiji Monastery. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty and has a history of several hundred years.

After lunch at a Tibetan Family, transfer to visit Cheng’En Monastery which is located in Nuoxi Village, Jian Tang Town of Shangri-La City.

In the late afternoon, visit Dabao Monastery. Dabao Monastery (大宝寺) is built on a rugged green hillside at an altitude of 3,300m (10,827 ft) and is one of the earliest Tibetan Buddhist temples built in Zhongdian (Shangri-La) County. It was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution and it was rebuilt in 1984. It’s the sacred surroundings that are the draw here; hillsides dotted with sheep, fluttering prayer flags and pine trees. At the foot the hill there lies a lovely, 2 km (1.2 mi) long stone wall with delicate Buddhas and scriptures carved on it.
